Shipping

 

Delays

 

Packages are shipped within 24 to 48 hours, Monday to Friday. If your ordered product is not in stock then allow for up to 15 days before receipt. During public holiday, the shipping time may take 3 to 4 days. Once shipped, please wait up to 7 business days for your package to arrive (Canada). These are approximate deadlines. Some exceptions apply. We deliver with the following carriers, Canpar, Canada Post and Dicom. If we haven't contacted you within 7 days of placing your order or if you would like your order to be shipped with another company, please contact us at [email protected] The client is responsible for making sure the shipping information they provide is valid and up to date. 

 

United States: Shipping comes with tracking number but no time estimate. Shipping is with Canada Post.

 

Fees

 

Canada: Fixed price shipping of $ 14.95 per order. Free shipping with the purchase of 100$ or more in Quebec and Ontario with the exception of certain regions in these provinces. This also excludes oversized packages.

 

United States: Fixed price shipping of $ 30.00 per order. Accessories only, no machines.

 

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products or services to a certain person or geographical area or to a certain country or territory. You agree to pay the shipping and handling charges shown at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to increase, decrease, add or eliminate shipping charges. However, you will always be informed of additional charges that you will have to pay before finalizing your order.

 

Oversize and overweight items

 

When an item is considered overweight or oversized, shipping may incur additional costs. We will contact you to inform you of the shipping costs before completing your order (example: Furniture for sewing machines or stitching machine).

Returns

 

In order to ensure that its customers benefit from an optimal sewing experience, Pénélope Sewing Machines offers an incomparable exchange service.

When a product is defective, it will be repaired or exchanged as the case may be, applying the manufacturer's initial warranty and the resulting exclusions.

For any exchange, reimbursement or repair, the shipping fees to Pénélope Sewing machines will be payable by the customer.

 

Machines

 

Within 90 days of purchasing a new machine, it may be upgraded for a better performing or an higher quality model of a price at least $ 100 more than the original purchase price.

Certain conditions apply:

  • The machine must be in perfect condition and in full working order.
  • It must be in its original packaging (box and styrofoam).
  • All accessories must be in good condition. Charges will apply if any accessories or parts are missing or broken.
  • The gifts that were offered with the purchase of the machine must be complete, failing which a return charge will apply to replace the item (example: thread, scissors, etc.)

This policy is limited to one exchange per year, per type of machine.

 

Accessories

 

Within 15 days of their purchase, certain accessories may be exchanged or refunded subject to certain conditions:

  • Returned items must be in their original, unaltered packaging.
  • Return fees of 30% of the sale price will be retained if these conditions are not respected.
  • Exclusions: Sewing machines, overlockers, coverstitch machines, threads, needles, bobbins, machine feet, software, furniture and special orders are excluded from this policy.
